2. The needle flame tester uses a needle shaped burner with a specified size (Φ 0.9mm), supplied with specific gas (butane or propane), and timed at a 45 ° angle to ignite the sample. The internal components of the equipment are evaluated based on whether the sample ignites, as well as the holding time and combustion length of the ignition cushion layer, to assess the ignition hazard performance of the equipment caused by small flames under fault conditions.
