Notes

 

1. Do not come into contact with hydro fluoric acid.
2. Heating is strictly prohibited and should not be placed in an oven to dry.
3. When encountering large or crystalline samples, they must be crushed and crushed outside, and then ground in an agate mortar
4. It is best not to grind substances with excessive hardness and coarse particles in an agate mortar to avoid scratching the surface.
5. When performing grinding operations, the bowl should be placed on an object that is not easy to slide, and the pestle should be kept vertical. Large pieces of solid can only be crushed and cannot be crushed with a pestle, otherwise it will damage the mortar, pestle, or spill the solid. Explosive substances can only be gently crushed and cannot be ground or ground. When substances that are corrosive to the skin are covered with thick paper or plastic sheets on the surface of the mortar, a hole should be opened in the center to insert the pestle before grinding. The amount of solid in the mortar body should not exceed 1/3 of its volume.
6. After using the mortar, it should be washed with water, or it can be washed with dilute hydrochloric acid first, and then rinsed with water. If there are difficult to wash substances attached, a small amount of salt can be added and ground before washing.
