Introduction
The Ford cups are made in accordance with ASTM D1200, D333, D365 standards, it's used to measure the viscosity of inks, coatings and paints. It is made of high-quality aluminum cup with a small hole at the bottom and a capacity of about 100ml. The Ford cup evaluates the viscosity of the material by measuring the time required for a certain volume of sample in the aluminum cup to flow out of the small hole at the bottom, and is widely used in the Americas and European countries.
