The Starch viscometer can conveniently and quickly measure the viscosity and obtain gelatinization curve of various starch and modified starch.
The starch viscometer heats up from 35 ºC to 95 ºC (or 98 ºC) at a rate of 1.5 ºC/min, holds for 30 minutes, then cools down to 50 ºC at a rate of 1.5 ºC/min and holds for another 30 minutes. This can fully record the entire process of starch gelatinization, and automatically calculate through data processing software: pasting temperature, peak viscosity, viscosity at the beginning of insulation at 95 ºC (or 98 ºC), viscosity at the end of insulation at 95 ºC (or 98 ºC), viscosity at the beginning of insulation at 50 ºC, viscosity at the end of insulation at 50 ºC, as well as drop and rebound values. Data and curves can be accessed and printed.
