The microplate centrifuge ensures that no residual liquid remains while preventing damage to the microplate's sealing edges, thereby guaranteeing the accuracy of the entire experiment. It safeguards both the safety of the operator and the laboratory environment.
Microplate centrifuges are also known as plate centrifuges, PCR plate centrifuges, microtiter plate centrifuges, or deep-well plate centrifuges.
1. The BE-6100 benchtop low-speed microplate centrifuge is a rapid centrifuge specifically designed for 96-well plates, making it easy to remove residual droplets from the walls. Most microplate centrifuges currently on the market are bulky and take up a significant amount of laboratory space.
2. This microplate centrifuge features a unique, compact design and is both economical and practical, measuring just 210 × 190 mm.
3. The microplate is loaded vertically into the centrifuge rotor via a slot at the top of the unit. The liquid remains at the bottom of the microplate due to surface tension, eliminating concerns about leakage.
4. Pressing the button on the front of the centrifuge instantly accelerates the rotor to 2,500 rpm; releasing the button stops the rotor.
5. It enables rapid centrifugation of droplets in microplates. The unique rotor design effectively prevents sample overflow, and the unit is approximately 50% smaller in volume than traditional centrifuges.
6. It accommodates all common microplates (with or without rims) as well as all microtiter plates.
7. This series of centrifuges is the first to incorporate a tilting rotor into a microplate centrifuge. Before centrifuging the microplate, ensure that all droplets are at the bottom of the wells to achieve proper concentration and maximize yield.
8. After closing the lid, the rotor begins to accelerate, and centrifugal force forces the microplate into a horizontal position. This causes droplets on the well walls to rapidly concentrate at the bottom of the wells.
