1.1.Usage:
Z-direction tensile strength (interlayer bonding strength) refers to the ability of paperboard to resist the separation between layers, which is a reflection of the internal bond strength of paper. The internal bond strength can be fully controlled, which is very important for the processing of multi-layer paper and cardboard. If the internal bond value is low or uneven distribution, it may lead to problems when paper and cardboard are tiled in the offset press using viscous ink. If the bonding strength value is too high, it will bring difficulty to the processing, and increase the cost of the company. This test is widely used in the printing and packaging industry of multi-layer paperboard such as box board, white board, grey board paper, white cardboard, etc.
1.2. Principle:
After the sample is affected by a certain Angle and a certain weight, the energy can be absorbed, and indicates the peel strength between cardboard layers.
