The Hardgrove Grindability Tester is a specialized instrument for measuring the grindability of bituminous coal and anthracite. It is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the standard GB2565-2014 "Measuring method of grindability index of coal" (Hardgrove method), which is equivalent to the ISO 5074-80.
According to the grinding law: the consumption energy has a proportional with the increased area of coal powder, under specified condition is ISO 5074, grind the coal sample then do screening and weigh, then obtain the Hardgrove grindability index in standard calibration chart, the larger of index, means the coal sample easier to grind.
The Hardgrove Grindability Index Tester adds a push-up bowl structure at the bottom of the body and grinding bowl, which solves the cumbersome labor of holding the bowl by hand during operation, and improved the accuracy of the tester.
